Awake, O Worshippers: The Danger of Idolatry

To do so, we must cultivate daily habits that keep our lives aligned with His truth—through prayer, meditation on the Scriptures, and fellowship with other believers. In doing this, we awaken not the lifeless wood or stone but our spirits in communion with the living God, who restores, teaches, and equips us for every good work.
May we be vigilant against the seductive pull of idolatry in our lives and, instead, devote ourselves wholeheartedly to the worship and service of the Almighty, who alone is worthy.
