Ezekiel‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬-‭28‬

A watercolor interpretation of the biblical passage Ezekiel 1:1-28. This scene depicts ethereal imagery from a divine perspective. It illustrates the vision of the Prophet Ezekiel by the river Chebar, wherein the heavens opened and he saw visions of God. The art specifically shows a tempest, a great cloud with brilliant light around it and fire flashing forth continually, and in the midst of the fire was an appearance of four living creatures. When still, they resemble humans, each with four faces and four wings, their legs were straight, the soles of their feet like a calf's foot, and they sparkled like burnished bronze. Each creature had the face of a man, lion, ox and an eagle. Between these creatures, there was something that looked like burning coals of fire. The artwork is imbued with reverence and faith and pursues a deeper understanding of Christian spirituality.
