Heavenly Father,

In the quietness of this moment, we come before You with grateful hearts, acknowledging Your sovereignty over our lives and our history. We reflect on the lineage of the sons of Benjamin, whom You have intricately woven into the fabric of Your divine plan. As we read in 1 Chronicles 9:7, "And of the sons of Benjamin; Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Hodaviah, the son of Hasenuah," we are reminded of the importance of heritage, legacy, and the purpose that You have for each generation.

Lord, Your scriptures reveal not just names of individuals, but they speak volumes about the story of families and tribes—all of whom You chose for a specific role in the grand narrative of salvation. Each name represents a life, filled with dreams and struggles, victories and defeats. In the lineage of the Benjaminites, we see a beautiful tapestry of faith that spans generations; let us learn from their dedication and serve faithfully as they did.

As we think upon Sallu, Meshullam, Hodaviah, and Hasenuah, we recognize the significance of their existence and the paths they tread. We pray that You will help us to understand and cherish our own roots.
