May my tongue not be a tool for self-aggrandizement, but rather an instrument of grace that reflects Your love in every interaction. Teach me, Father, that my speech can have power, that my words can either build up or tear down. As I reflect on the countless conversations I engage in, may I strive to speak with a heart overflowing with love, showing kindness, patience, and understanding, especially to those who may oppose me.

Lord, I ask for the strength to be vigilant over my words.
