Lord, we also bring our concerns for the leaders and authorities in our communities and nations before You. As Jehu was tasked with delivering Your message, we pray for those who You have appointed over us, that they may act justly and righteously. In a world rife with corruption, guide them away from the pathways of Baasha and Jeroboam, preserving their hearts so that they do not provoke Your just anger through their actions. May they be instruments of Your peace and justice, committed to serve the people entrusted to their care with integrity and wisdom.
As we think of the legacy of Baasha, we remember that our choices echo through generations. Lord, let our lives be marked by a commitment to righteousness, and let us sow seeds of faith, love, and obedience.
