O Lord, Our Heavenly Father,

Therefore it became a proverb, Is Saul also among the prophets?" O Lord, help me to understand the profound significance of this scripture as I delve into the layers of meaning it holds for our lives and our calling.

Father, in this passage, we witness the unfolding of Your divine plan through Saul, a man from humble beginnings who You chose to be the king of Israel. It leaves me in awe, for it reminds me that You often take the unlikely and elevate them to positions of leadership. Lord, I pray for those who feel unworthy or unprepared for the calling You have placed upon their lives. Just as You used Saul, who questioned his worthiness, I ask that You instill confidence in their hearts to fulfill the purpose for which they were created.

As Saul stepped into the role of a prophet, it was a perplexing sight to many.
