In 1 Samuel 25:19, we reflect upon the actions of Abigail, a woman of wisdom and discernment who acted with courage and wisdom in the face of adversity. "And she said unto her servants, Go on before me; behold, I come after you. But she told not her husband Nabal."

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the intricate narratives woven throughout Scripture, narratives that serve as reminders of how to navigate the complexities of life. We see in Abigail an example of quiet strength, of taking responsible action even when the circumstances seem difficult. Lord, grant us the discernment to know when to speak and when to act in silence, as Abigail chose to do. Help us to be wise in our decisions, to consider the consequences of our actions, and to lead our lives by faith even when the path is uncertain.
