Help me to recognize the humanity in each person I encounter, even when our differences seem insurmountable. Teach me the beauty of humility as we face our opposition, that I may not shy away from confrontation but approach each moment hoping for reconciliation and peace.
In this prayer, I also ask for strength amid the trials of life. Just as Joash and Amaziah met at Beth-shemesh, let every encounter I have, whether difficult or joyful, bring me closer to You. May I remember that You are there with me in these moments, guiding me, protecting me, and loving me unconditionally.
