As we intercede for our leaders, Lord, we also ask for a special anointing upon those who serve under them. Breathe Your Spirit over the congregation, inviting us all to partake in the mission of Your house. Help us to recognize that we too have a part to play in building up the body of Christ, encouraging and uplifting our appointed overseers, and participating actively in the work of Your Kingdom.
Finally, Lord, we thank You for Your everlasting guidance and for providing leaders who seek to uphold Your temple, carry out Your work, and amplify Your glory among us. May we always be grateful for the leadership You provide and for the commitment they display in fulfilling their roles. We pray that as they serve under Your mighty hand, they are filled with joy, fortitude, and a deep awareness of Your presence surrounding all that they do.
