A Prayer for Righteousness and Redemption

O Lord God,
In the stillness of this hour, we humbly approach Your throne of grace, with hearts laid bare before You. As we reflect upon the words of 2 Kings 13:2, "And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, and followed the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which made Israel to sin; he departed not therefrom," we recognize the gravity of our own choices and the paths we walk in our lives.
Lord, we come seeking Your mercy and guidance. We acknowledge that there are times when we, like the kings of Israel, have strayed from Your ways.
