A Prayer for Sustenance in Our Wilderness

Heavenly Father,

May we all partake in the richness of Your grace.
Help us recognize the seasons of drought and need around us, and inspire us to extend the hand of aid to those who are hungry and weary. Let us be channels of Your love and provision. Just as David’s followers in their distress had their needs met with the simple yet profound offerings of honey, butter, sheep, and cheese, empower us to share what we have. Teach us to give even when we feel we have little, for in our giving, we reflect Your generosity and grace.

Finally, Lord, I pray that when we are fed and restored, we will not forget those still wandering in the wilderness. Instill in us a spirit of generosity and Community, always eager to share the provisions You’ve blessed us with. Help us to be a source of encouragement and support, leading others back to You, the true source of healing, strength, and sustenance.
