O Gracious and Sovereign Lord,

Gracious Father, I come to You acknowledging my own weakness and vulnerability, even as I strive to walk in the path You have set before me.
Father, I admit that there are times I feel overwhelmed by the responsibilities that You have entrusted to me. Like David, I may be anointed to lead, yet I recognize that strength does not come from my own merit, but from You alone. These men and women may act with malice and intention, sowing discord and division, trying to undermine the unity that You desire for Your people. Lord, I place my trust in Your justice and righteousness, knowing that You see all and will handle all wrongs. Teach me to be patient and to refrain from taking matters into my own hands; instead, let me lift my eyes to You, the ultimate Arbiter of all that is right.

Help me to lean upon Your everlasting arms, trusting that You are my refuge and fortress, embodying every attribute of a loving and just King.
Lastly, I pray for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to reign in my heart. May I cultivate an atmosphere where forgiveness and understanding flourish, even when faced with evil and adversity. Bind my heart to Yours, so I may be an instrument of Your peace, seeking justice while walking in mercy.
