Let us not succumb to the temptation of despair, but rather, help us to keep our eyes focused on You, our Helper and Redeemer.
Father, we also beseech You to give us boldness in witnessing to others during these precarious times. Allow us the wisdom to speak the truth in love, encouraging others to turn their hearts back to You and to abide in the hope found in Your Son, Jesus Christ. May our lives reflect the grace and mercy that You show us every day, and may we be instruments of Your peace amidst the strife.
