"And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:" - Acts 2:18

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with hearts open wide, humbled by Your infinite grace and mercy, as we reflect on the powerful promise found in Acts 2:18, where it is written, "And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy." We thank You, Lord, for Your Word, which speaks life and truth into our spirits and reminds us of the incredible gift of the Holy Spirit, which You so freely bestow upon us.

Lord, we stand in awe of Your intentions as stated in this Scripture. We remember the days of old when Your Spirit moved mightily among Your people. You poured out Your Spirit upon them, not just to empower them but to lead them into deeper communion with You. We long for a fresh outpouring of that same Spirit in our lives today—a Spirit that ignites passion in our hearts, that awakens dormant dreams, and that restores our fellowship with You to its fullest measure.

Father, we realize that You choose to pour out Your Spirit upon Your servants and handmaidens, and we desire to be counted among those who serve You faithfully. Help us to cultivate a heart of servitude, ready to respond to Your call, irrespective of our status in this world. Strengthen our resolve to serve humbly, seeking not our own glory but the advancement of Your Kingdom.

In these chaotic times, we feel the weight of the world around us—a world yearning for hope and healing. As we pray for the outpouring of Your Spirit, may it begin within us. Fill us afresh, Lord! Let Your Spirit embolden us to speak Your Word with clarity and courage, just as it did for the apostles at Pentecost.

Teach us to prophesy, Father. As we read Your Word, let us become vessels of Your truth, empowered to declare Your will, to share Your love, and to proclaim the good news of salvation. May our prophecies be a source of encouragement to the weary, healing to the brokenhearted, and direction to those who feel lost. May we carry Your message into our families, our workplaces, and our communities, igniting a fire of faith wherever we go.

God, we also intercede for those who are weary, those who doubt Your promises, and those who feel unqualified to serve. Please pour out Your Spirit upon them as well, lifting their burdens and renewing their spirits. Let them see themselves as You see them; favored and called, worthy of Your love and equipped by Your Spirit to fulfill their divine purpose.

As we seek You with all our hearts, we ask that You open our eyes to the wonders of Your Spirit at work within us and among us. Teach us to discern Your voice, that we may follow Your lead and proclaim Your truth with wisdom and understanding. As Your servants and handmaidens, let our lives be an outpouring of gratitude, worship, and praise to You.

In these days when darkness seems to prevail, we stand on Your promise that as we seek Your face and ask for the outpouring of Your Spirit, You will respond. Let revival spring forth in our hearts, in our churches, and in our land. Help us to be bold witnesses to the hope that we have in You.

We thank You, Lord, for the immeasurable gift of the Holy Spirit. We look forward to being filled with Your Spirit anew and to prophesy with courage and love in these compelling times. May our lives reflect Your majesty and transform the world around us.

In the name of Jesus, we pray,

Amen.
