Heavenly Father,

I come before You today, humbled and filled with reverence for Your eternal wisdom and boundless love. As I reflect on the words of Acts 2:37, “Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?”, I am reminded of the profound yearning that resides in the hearts of humanity. This stirring within us often leads to questions that reach to the very depths of our souls, seeking clarity and direction in a world filled with uncertainties.

Lord God, I pray that You would awaken each of us in our spirits, much like those who listened to the apostles on that momentous day of Pentecost. Let us not become complacent or indifferent to the call of the Holy Spirit, but instead be sensitive to the promptings that You have placed within our hearts. When the truth of Your word resonates with us and reveals the areas of our lives that are out of alignment with Your will, may we be readily aware and responsive, ready to ask the critical question: "What shall we do?"

Father, as we ponder this question, let us recognize our own need for repentance and transformation. Help us to acknowledge our shortcomings and the sins that may weigh heavily upon our conscience. Just as those early disciples were pricked in their hearts, let us not shy away from the convicting power of Your Spirit. Teach us to embrace this unease, viewing it as a divine invitation to draw nearer to You. May we take the time to quiet our minds and listen intently to the still, small voice that insists we seek a deeper relationship with You.

Lord, grant us understanding and courage as we navigate our faith journey. When we cry out, "What shall we do?" may we be open to the responses that You offer through Your word and through the wise counsel of fellow believers. Help us to seek out the answers not merely in the hustle and bustle of life, but through prayerful consideration and meaningful dialogue within our community. Bring to us those mentors and companions who, like Peter and the apostles, can guide us in our seeking.

I also pray for the spirit of unity in our communities as we approach You with our questions and needs together. As we gather and share our hearts, let us recognize the collective longing for truth and guidance that binds us as a family in Christ. Inspire us to support one another in our struggles and growth, demonstrating Your love through our actions and words. May our fellowship be intentional and grace-filled, as we collectively seek to answer the call of Your Gospel in our lives and the lives of those around us.

As we strive to follow Your leading, open our eyes to the avenues You have prepared for us. Show us how we can act in accordance with Your will—be it through service, generosity, advocacy for justice, or sharing the Gospel. May the answers to our question—"What shall we do?"—not only transform our own lives but also serve as a beacon of hope for our families, friends, and strangers alike. Let our lives be testimonies of Your goodness and grace, drawing others toward the light of Your love.

In all things, may we respond in faith and obedience, trusting that You are working in and through us for Your glory. Help us to keep our hearts open to Your leading and our eyes fixed on Your promises.
