A Harvest of Souls: A Prayer for Increase in Believers
"And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)" - Acts 5:14

Heavenly Father,
As we come before You today, our hearts are filled with gratitude for the gift of salvation and the boundless love You have poured out through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We come to You with reverence, recalling the powerful words from the book of Acts, chapter 5, verse 14: "And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women." This scripture resonates deeply within us, reminding us of the expansive grace that You extend to all who seek after You.
O Lord, we thank You for the multitudes—men and women—who have been brought into Your fold. We acknowledge that every soul saved is a testament to Your mercy and power. We ask, dear God, that You continue to work within our communities, stirring in the hearts of many so that they may come to know You. Lord, ignite a fervent passion within Your church, a passionate pursuit for the souls of those who are lost.
May we become instruments of Your peace and love, carrying the message of the Gospel boldly into the world. Grant us the wisdom and the courage to share our testimonies and to proclaim Your Word with conviction. Equip us with the spiritual gifts we need to reach out to those who do not yet know the light of Christ, Lord. Help us to be examples of Your love, truly reflecting the essence of Your character and demonstrating the power of a transformed life.
We pray for a mighty movement of Your Spirit. Like the early church, we ask for signs, wonders, and miracles that will draw people into Your presence. Let our lives be signs post for Your love, that we may manifest Your goodness in our words and actions! Give us hearts that are sensitive to the leading of Your Holy Spirit, guiding us to those who are weary, brokenhearted, and searching for hope.
Father, I ask for an anointing over our preaching and teaching. Let the words we speak be saturated with life and power, compelling those who hear to respond to Your call. May our gatherings be places where hearts are stirred and lives are changed, drawing even more believers into Your glorious kingdom.
We pray specifically for the lost—those who are wandering in darkness—men and women who have not yet tasted of Your goodness. May Your light shine through us, illuminating their path and leading them to You. Help us to seek them out, to show them compassion, and to stand in the gap for their salvation.
Lord, let this be a time of extraordinary increase within the body of Christ. May the harvest grow ripe for Your glory, and may we not miss the opportunities You provide for us to bring hope to the helpless. Prepare our hearts to receive the multitude You are sending. Teach us how to disciple them, guiding them in the way of truth and love. Fill us with patience and understanding as we walk alongside them in their journey of faith.
We also submit ourselves to Your will and timing, trusting that You know the perfect plan for each soul. Whether their journey begins with a single conversation or an act of kindness, we know that You are at work. Remind us to pray earnestly for those who are yet to believe, as prayer is a powerful tool in the hands of faith-filled believers.
In Your divine wisdom, may our efforts yield an abundant harvest. Help us to rejoice in the work You are doing and to remain humble, giving You all glory for the transformation happening around us. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Amen.
