Instead, let every heart bow low and seek Your face, turning from our wicked ways so that You may heal our land.
I pray for those in positions of leadership and authority within our churches, homes, and communities. May they find wisdom and strength in You alone, rejecting the lure of power without humility. Lord, empower them to be examples of righteousness and integrity, guiding us toward repentance and in the truth of Your word.
As I reflect on the prophetic warnings in Amos, I take refuge in the hope that lies in Your mercy. Know that I am seeking You, O Lord, not because of my righteousness, but because of Your grace. As we combat disobedience with faith, let every high place be brought low, and every sanctuary restored to its intended glory.
