The God of Miracles: A Prayer for Remembrance and Faith

"And his miracles, and his acts, which he did in the midst of Egypt unto Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and unto all his land;" - Deuteronomy 11:3

"And his miracles, and his acts, which he did in the midst of Egypt unto Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and unto all his land;" - Deuteronomy 11:{verse.verse_number}

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with grateful hearts, humbled by Your greatness and majesty. As we reflect on Your Word, we turn our attention to Deuteronomy 11:3: "And his miracles, and his acts, which he did in the midst of Egypt unto Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and unto all his land." Lord, we acknowledge that You are the God of miracles, the One who performs wonders beyond our understanding.

In the midst of trials and tribulations, we often forget the mighty acts You have done, both in the times of old and in our own lives. We remember how You delivered the Israelites from slavery, how You parted the Red Sea, and how You provided manna from heaven. Your miracles are a testament to Your faithfulness, O Lord. Just as You did great things in Egypt, You are able to do great things in our lives today.

Help us to be vigilant in our remembrance of Your miracles. Forgive us, Lord, when we allow doubt to cloud our faith. When trials surface and circumstances appear overwhelmingly bleak, remind us of Your omnipotence. Remind us of the plagues that You brought upon Egypt—each one a demonstration of Your power over false gods and the pride of man. You showed Pharaoh and the Egyptians that You alone are God, sovereign over the affairs of mankind. Lord, may we recognize that same sovereignty in our lives today.

As we stand in our own personal Egypt—those places of bondage, despair, and hopelessness—help us to remember that You are still performing miracles. Touch our hearts, and let us be open to witnessing Your works. Give us eyes to see the signs of Your presence and Your hand at work, sometimes in the most subtle ways. Let us not only look for grand acts like parting seas, but also the quiet ways in which you comfort us, guide us, and sustain us through our daily struggles.

Lord, empower us with faith that recounts Your mighty deeds. Just as Moses conveyed the stories of Your miracles to the people, instill in us a desire to share our own testimonies of Your goodness and grace. May we tell of the miracles we have seen in our lifetimes, inspiring others to trust in You. Let our lives be a beacon of hope that points to the miraculous nature of Your love and faithfulness.

Help us to cultivate a heart of gratitude that always acknowledges Your past acts of kindness and mercy. Let us chant praises to You, reminding ourselves and those around us of Your wondrous acts. In moments of uncertainty, when the waves of doubt crash against us, help us to stand firm in the promise that You are the same God who performed wonders in Egypt.

Father, we pray for the people of this world who find themselves in their own Egypts today. May Your miracles break forth in their situations. Bring liberation where there is bondage, healing where there is sickness, provision where there is lack. Use us as vessels to share Your love, grace, and transformative power with those in need.

We also pray for our leaders, that they may recognize Your sovereignty and turn their hearts toward You, seeking Your guidance and wisdom in every decision they make. May Your mighty hand be evident in the hearts and minds of those in authority, just as it was before Pharaoh.

As we close this prayer, we renew our commitment to trust in Your miracles, embracing every opportunity to witness and share Your goodness. We declare that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we could ask or think. Thank You for Your miracles, both past and future, and for the assurance that You are ever faithful.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
