A Prayer of Abundant Faith and Trust
"Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us," - Ephesians 3:20

Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with hearts full of praise and gratitude, acknowledging Your greatness and the boundless love You extend towards us. As we reflect on Your Word, particularly Ephesians 3:20, we stand in awe of the truth that proclaims, "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us."
Lord, we thank You for being a God who is not only able, but willing to meet our needs in ways that go beyond our understanding. You are the Creator of the universe, the Sustainer of our lives, and the One who has the power to do far more than we could ever imagine. Help us to expand our vision and to recognize the incredible possibilities that stem from Your abundant nature. You are capable of performing miracles in our lives, exceeding every expectation we may have, and we trust in Your divine wisdom to provide what we truly need.
Father, we confess that at times our faith falters, and we limit You due to our finite understanding. Forgive us for the moments when we allow doubt to creep into our hearts, questioning whether You truly have the ability to intervene in our circumstances. May we be reminded of the countless miracles You have performed throughout history and the testimonies of Your faithful servants. Let these accounts inspire a renewed faith within us, knowing that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Lord, we ask for clarity in our prayers. Teach us to ask boldly and to think expansively. Help us to align our desires with Your will, trusting that You always have our best interests at heart. Mould our hearts to seek not just our own gratification but also the needs of others, for in so doing, we reflect Your love and character. We understand that Your plans are higher than ours, and we are grateful that we can surrender our desires to Your perfect plan.
As we acknowledge Your omnipotence, we also recognize the power that works within us. We acknowledge that it is through the Holy Spirit that we gain strength, wisdom, and guidance to navigate our lives. Lord, may this power be realized in us as we walk in faith. Ignite within our souls a hunger and thirst for righteousness, enabling us to know and live fully in Your promises. Empower us to serve You passionately and to be vessels of Your grace in the world around us.
God, we pray for those in need of Your miraculous touch today. Whether it be those battling illness, those in financial distress, or those facing emotional turmoil, remind them that You are able to do exceedingly above their requests. May they find comfort in knowing that their cries for help are heard, and that your response may surpass their wildest hopes. Give them faith to believe in the impossible and the assurance that You are at work, even when they cannot see it.
Lastly, Lord, as we live in anticipation of Your abundance, allow us to be agents of that same abundance to others. Help us to share the blessings we have received, fostering a spirit of generosity and compassion in our communities. Teach us the profound truth that as we pour into the lives of others, we will never run dry of Your grace. Let our actions echo the promise found in Ephesians 3:20, that through us, Your greatness may be displayed.
In closing, we lift our hearts in gratitude for the hope we have in You. May we continually remember that with You, all things are possible, and that You are still in the business of exceeding our expectations.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
