A Prayer for Divine Presence and Guidance
"¶ Then did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above." - Ezekiel 11:22

O Great and Mighty God,
We come before You today in humble reverence, hearts open and yearning for Your divine presence. As we reflect on the profound words of Ezekiel 11:22, "Then did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above," we are reminded of the majestic and awe-inspiring nature of Your glory.
Lord, we acknowledge that Your presence is powerful and transformative. Just as the cherubims lifted their wings in praise and adoration, so too do we lift our hearts and voices to You, seeking to honor You in all that we do. We desire for our lives to be a reflection of Your love, grace, and majesty. We long to walk in the light of Your glory, O Lord, for it is by Your brilliance that we find clarity and direction in our journeys.
Holy Spirit, dwell among us as we speak these words. Hover over our hearts and minds as the wheels beside the cherubims that You have created. Guide our thoughts, lead our actions, and help us to always be attuned to Your voice. In a world filled with confusion and uncertainty, we need our paths illuminated by Your wisdom, just as the glory of God highlighted the heavens above the cherubims.
Heavenly Father, we plead for Your glory to fill our lives. May Your presence be ever near, providing comfort in times of distress, joy amidst sorrow, and peace that surpasses all understanding. Just as Ezekiel witnessed the glory resting over the heavenly beings, we too wish to feel that divine presence saturating our lives. We understand that only within Your glory can we find true fulfillment and purpose.
O God of Israel, we recognize that the precious essence of Your being is above all things. We are reminded of Your supremacy, Your unfathomable love, and the promise of Your ongoing presence with Your people. We surrender our worries and burdens to You, knowing that You watch over us from on high. Help us to lift our eyes from the trials of this world to behold the beauty of Your majesty that reigns supreme.
In this time of prayer, we also bring before You the needs of our families, friends, and communities. We ask for Your glory to manifest in their lives. May the outpouring of Your spirit bring healing to the sick, comfort to the broken-hearted, and hope to those who feel lost. Let the wings of Your cherubims extend over them, guarding and guiding them closer to You.
Lord, just as the wheels beside the cherubims were called to move according to Your will, we too seek to be instruments in Your hands. Empower us to move with purpose and grace in the tasks You set before us. Give us the courage to respond to Your call, to step out in faith, trusting that Your glory goes before us. May we be vessels of Your love, sharing Your light with those caught in darkness.
Finally, we commit ourselves into Your care, longing for the day when we shall behold Your full glory in eternity. Until that day, may we continually seek to align our hearts with Yours, to carry Your glory into every corner of our lives.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray,
Amen.
