Eternal and Almighty God,

We come before You with hearts that yearn for truth and a deep longing for righteousness. Lord, as we gather in Your presence today, we are reminded of the solemn words found in Ezekiel 13:19 (KJV), "And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies?"

Father, these words echo through the corridors of our spirit, reminding us of the grave consequences of deceit and the severity of those who would trade truth for trifles. We pray for clarity in our times when lies and immoral truths pollute our communities, our churches, and our very souls.

In a world flooded with distractions and false doctrines, we seek Your divine wisdom to discern truth from deception. Give us a heart that boldly stands for what is righteous and a mind that seeks understanding in Your Word. May we never be complicit in the pollution of Your holy name among our people, just for the sake of worldly gain or material comforts. Lord, forgive us for times we have turned a blind eye to dishonesty, times we have silently accepted lies as if they were truth for our own benefit.

O God, protect the innocent among us, those whose lives are threatened by the deceptive practices of others. Strengthen our resolve to speak out against injustice, to be a voice for those who cannot advocate for themselves. Help us be vigilant in our pursuit of truth and empower us to gently rebuke those who spread falsehoods under the guise of righteousness. May we love them enough to guide them back to Your truth, showing them the consequences of their actions, not with harshness but with a loving spirit.

Lord, we desire that the souls that should not die are nurtured and encouraged by words of life. Help us to cultivate an environment that promotes healing, truth, and the Gospel of Christ. Let our lives be living testimonies of Your grace and truth, a shining example for others to see. Inspire us to reach out to those who are ensnared by the lies that surround them and strive to save souls alive, instilling in them a desire to seek the authenticity of faith that You have given us.

In Your mercy, cast out or shield us from those who would manipulate our thoughts and beliefs for their gain. May we not be swayed by the empty promises of handfuls of barley or pieces of bread but remain steadfast in our commitment to serve You. Let us hold tightly to Your teachings and the principles of love, justice, and truth that You have outlined in Scripture.

Father, let Your Spirit of discernment guide those who lead in our churches, communities, and nations. Elevate the voices of those who speak under the anointing of Your truth. May they be emboldened to confront lies and deceit with confidence, knowing they stand on the foundation of Your Word. Empower them to challenge injustice, even when it might be unpopular to do so. Ready their hearts with love and compassion so that their corrections point toward redemption.

Finally, Lord, let our own lives be cleansed of hypocrisy. Search our hearts deeply, reveal if there are any unclean thoughts or deceitful intentions within us. May we find refuge in Your presence, restored by Your love, and committed to reflecting only the truth of Your kingdom.
