In Your wisdom, You chose to highlight the parents of Jerusalem—an Amorite father and a Hittite mother. You reminded them and us that identity is multifaceted and that we are not defined solely by our genetic or cultural ties. Help us to embrace the richness of our unique identities while finding unity in the larger family of faith that You have crafted. May we seek to build relationships that reflect Your love and grace toward every tribe and nation.
