Heavenly Father,

We come before You in humble adoration and contrition, seeking Your presence to wash over us with cleansing power. As we reflect on the words of Ezekiel 23:27, where You lovingly declared, "Thus will I make thy lewdness to cease from thee, and thy whoredom brought from the land of Egypt: so that thou shalt not lift up thine eyes unto them, nor remember Egypt any more," we recognize the depths of our own lewdness, our own whoredom, and our undeniable tendency to look back to the land of bondage rather than forward to You.

Lord, we acknowledge that Egypt symbolizes a life entangled in sin, a life that lured us away from the beautiful relationship You desire with us. We confess that there have been times when we have lifted our eyes towards the false promises of the world, reminiscing about the comfort of our past mistakes and indulging in the allure of those memories that are steeped in sin. Forgive us, Father, for the times we have sought satisfaction in the idols of our hearts rather than seeking fulfillment in Your love.

We come to You today to invoke Your promise of deliverance and sovereignty. You have declared that You will make our lewdness cease, and we hold tightly to that promise. In a world filled with temptation, help us to relinquish all that draws us back to Egypt—the past that lures us into familiar patterns of despair and disobedience. Cleanse our hearts, O God, and purify our minds, leading us away from the shadows of our former selves.

Let us not be those who remember Egypt any longer, for in that land we were slaves to sin, separated from Your grace. Help us to turn our eyes away from the former things, enabling us to step into the newness You have for us. Your Word tells us in Isaiah 43:18-19, "Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?" May this promise resonate within us, igniting a desire for transformation and renewal.

We ask that You break every chain that has kept us bound to the memories and temptations connected with our spiritual Egypt. Remove from us any remnants of lewdness or whoredom, renewing our hearts within us. Help us not to be caught in the snares of our past, but let us emerge as new creations, free from guilt and shame. Let Your Holy Spirit fill us afresh, guiding us daily to live in a manner that reflects Your love and grace.

As we journey together in faith, strengthen our resolve to seek righteousness, to embrace holiness, and to engage in the transformative work You are accomplishing within us. Make us vessels of Your light, so that our testimonies will shine brightly in a world desperate for hope. Help us to be examples of Your grace, leading others from their own Egypts into freedom and forgiveness found only in You.

We declare that today marks a new chapter in our lives, leaving behind the past and moving toward a future rooted in Your promises. We thank You for the cleansing power of Your blood, which washes away all our sins and purifies us from unrighteousness.

In closing, we rejoice at the thought of lifting our eyes only to You, the author and finisher of our faith; we choose not to remember Egypt anymore but to dwell in the land of promise and hope. Thank You, Lord, for the work You are doing in us—may we always honor and glorify Your name.
