Enable us to proclaim Your goodness, even if it means facing ridicule or misunderstanding.

Lord, teach us to depend not on the bread of men, but on the Bread of Life—Your precious Son, Jesus Christ. In John 6:35, Jesus said, "I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst." Instill in us a robust desire for Him, and let our hearts find their fulfillment only in the richness of Your presence. Let this hunger for righteousness be a driving force in all that we do, so that we may rise above the trivialities of earthly appetites and chase after the eternal sustenance that only You provide.
