Heavenly Father,

We come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your presence in a world that often feels desolate and forsaken. We acknowledge the words of Your prophet Ezekiel, who, in Ezekiel 30:12, proclaimed, "And I will make the rivers dry, and sell the land into the hand of the wicked: and I will make the land waste, and all that is therein, by the hand of strangers: I the LORD have spoken it."

Lord, these words can be daunting, yet they remind us of Your sovereignty over all creation and the consequences of turning away from Your path. As we meditate on the state of our world, we see rivers that once flowed with life now running dry, and lands that were once bountiful and blessed becoming barren in the hands of those who do not honor You.

We recognize, O Lord, that the desolation we witness around us is not merely a physical manifestation but a spiritual ailment affecting hearts and minds. We see greed, corruption, and injustice flourishing as the wicked are given dominion over the earth. We pray for those who are suffering under the weight of this desolation, for the oppressed who feel voiceless and forgotten, and for the wicked who have strayed far from Your light and truth.

Father, we ask for Your mercy to rain down upon us like the rivers You have allowed to dry. Revive our spirits, O Lord, and awaken our hearts to the urgency of turning back to You. Help us to take responsibility for the state of our land and the stewardship of the earth that You have entrusted to us. We confess that we have failed to uphold Your righteousness and to stand against the tide of wickedness.

In Your grace, remind us that You are a God of restoration. While You may permit desolation, You also have the power to restore all that is broken. We plead for healing for our communities, our nations, and our world. May Your mercy flood over the land that has been laid waste, and may Your word bring forth life where there was once death.

We also pray specifically for those who wield power and influence. May they encounter Your truth and righteousness. Let the hearts of the wicked be transformed, and may they seek justice rather than oppression. Father, stir in our leaders a desire to act in accordance with Your will, rather than the fleeting pleasures of this world.

As we reflect on the strangers who now inhabit the land, remind us, Lord, that we are all strangers in this world, journeying through a temporary existence. Give us eyes to see the dignity and worth in every person we encounter, regardless of their origin or status. May we be vessels of Your compassion and love to those who are marginalized or alienated.

Lord, we pray for revival in our cities, our homes, and within our own hearts. Ignite a fire within us to pursue justice, to act kindly, and to walk humbly with You. Help us to be beacons of hope, spreading Your message of love and mercy in a world that desperately needs it.

In the face of desolation, we hold onto the promise that You, O Lord, have spoken it. Your words are life; Your plans are perfect. We trust in Your ability to bring forth a new season, one of healing, restoration, and abundance. We place our hope in You, for You are our refuge and strength.

We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer, who restores and makes all things new. Amen.
