Heavenly Father,

In Genesis 10:24, we read, "And Arphaxad begat Salah; and Salah begat Eber." In these seemingly simple words, there lies a testament to Your faithfulness across generations. Today, I pause to reflect on the significance of these names and the legacies they represent, seeking to understand my own place within the lineage of Your people.

Lord God, thank You for the gift of life and for the heritage that You have entrusted to us. Each generation, from Arphaxad to Salah to Eber, has played a role in Your divine plan. As I meditate on these men, I see men of faith who shaped their lives according to Your will. Teach me, Father, to embrace this same spirit of faithfulness and obedience.
