A Bold Approach to the Holiest
"Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful." - Hebrews 10:19-23

Heavenly Father, I come before You in reverent awe, grateful for the incredible gift of access to Your presence through the blood of Jesus Christ. Lord, today I stand on the promise of Hebrews 10:19-23, which declares that I have the boldness to enter the Holiest place because of what Christ accomplished on the cross. I approach You with a heart filled with gratitude for this new and living way that You have consecrated for us, a way without barriers that empowers us to draw near to You intimately and freely.
I acknowledge, Lord, that it is only by the blood of Jesus that I have this privilege. His sacrifice torn the veil of separation, allowing me to enter into communion with You and partake in the sanctity of Your holiness. I pray that I may always remember the weightiness of this access, that it’s not something to be taken lightly, but a privilege granted to me by the love and grace of my Savior. Help me to cherish this access and to come into Your presence with a true heart, unwavering in faith, knowing who I am in Christ and what the blood signifies for my life.
Father, I seek to draw near to You with full assurance of faith. There may be times when my heart feels distant or filled with doubt and discouragement. When those moments arise, remind me that the assurance of my faith rests in Your promises; You are always faithful to what You declare. Instill in me a confidence that allows me to approach You without fear, knowing that my heart has been sprinkled clean from an evil conscience. Help me to reflect the purity and righteousness that Your salvation brings into my life, and to cast aside every weight that hinders my pursuit of holiness.
Lord, I ask for the strength to keep my heart steadfast. In a world filled with distractions and temptations, it can be easy to waver in my commitment and confession of hope. However, I am reaffirmed today that I must hold fast to the hope that You have given me—the hope that springs eternal because of Christ’s work on the cross. May I boldly proclaim this hope, sharing the truth of Your Gospel with those around me, encouraging them to draw near to You as well.
As I adhere to Your words, help me to cultivate an unwavering spirit. May I stand firm in the face of challenges, knowing that You are faithful to every promise You have made. Enable me to muster up the courage to face life’s uncertainties, knowing that I am anchored in the unchanging nature of Your character, God. Let Your faithfulness be the bedrock of my life, dispelling every hint of despair or doubt.
Help me to wash my body in pure water and be mindful of the sacrifices and decisions that lead to a holy life. Assist me in shedding the remnants of my past which no longer serve You, so that I may walk in the newness of life You have promised. Empower me to live a life that reflects Your glory, filled with love and grace to all who encounter me.
As I conclude my prayer, I express my heartfelt gratitude for the privilege to engage in such a profound relationship with You, O God. May my pursuit of You never waver, and may I always remember the cost of my access. Strengthen my faith, purify my heart, and fill me with a renewed spirit so that I may glorify You through my life.
In the precious name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.

Hebrews 10:19-23 - "Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful."
