Heavenly Father,

We are reminded of the depth of Your wisdom as conveyed in Hebrews 7:28, where it is written, “For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.” Lord, as we meditate on this verse, we ask for a deeper revelation of its meaning and significance for our lives.

O God, we acknowledge that the high priests of old were appointed under the Law, possessing their own weaknesses and infirmities. In our weakness, we are reminded of Your strength, Christ Jesus. Fill us with the assurance that we are not alone in our struggles.
