Heavenly Father,

In moments when I have felt abandoned or in the depths of despair, I have sought Your presence, yearning for comfort and guidance. I understand that sometimes You allow us to walk through trials and tribulations, not as an act of abandonment, but as part of a greater purpose—a divine plan that is often veiled from my immediate understanding. I acknowledge, precious Father, that these moments, although painful and challenging, help mold my character and strengthen my faith in You.
Lord, I ask for the grace to accept those moments of forsakenness as opportunities for growth. Teach me to embrace the trials of life, understanding that they serve a purpose in my journey. Help me to trust that even when everything seems dark and I cannot sense Your presence, You are still there, preparing to gather me back into Your arms of mercy.
In Your great mercy, You promise to gather us when we are weary; You invite us to come to You, just as we are, flawed and broken. I am incredibly grateful for Your readiness to embrace us with compassion, for Your arms that stretch wide to welcome back the prodigal, for Your heart that beats with love and understanding. As I conclude this prayer, I declare my trust in You, O God, and my assurance that Your great mercies will endure forever. Gather me, Lord, in Your arms of love, and use me to gather others.
