O Lord God Almighty, Creator of Heaven and Earth, we come before You today with humble hearts, seeking Your divine wisdom and guidance. We acknowledge that You are the Sovereign King who rules over all the earth, and we submit ourselves to Your will and purpose in our lives and in our communities. We lift up to You the profound verse from Isaiah 9:15, which states, "The ancient and honourable, he is the head; and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail." In this verse, we are reminded of the significance of leadership, integrity, and the consequences of deceit.

Heavenly Father, we ask that You grant us the discernment to recognize the difference between the ancient and honourable who lead with wisdom and integrity, and those who might lead us astray with false teachings and deceitful words. Help us, Lord, not to be swayed by eloquence or worldly charm but to seek after the counsel of those whose hearts are aligned with You and whose lives reflect Your truth.

We pray for our leaders—both in our churches and in our communities. May they be filled with a spirit of humility and wisdom, seeking to serve rather than to be served. Cover them with Your protection and lead them in the paths of righteousness for Your name's sake. As we read Your Word, may we discern who among them is worthy of our trust and respect, and who may be leading us down the path of destruction.

Father, we acknowledge that not all voices are Your voice, and not every teaching is rooted in Your truth. There are leaders and prophets among us who teach lies, leading many astray with deceptive ideologies and misleading doctrines. We pray for those who have been influenced by such teachings. Open their eyes, O Lord, and give them the wisdom to seek the truth in You. Help them to recognize the difference between the head and the tail, the ancient and the honourable versus the deceitful and the false.

Lord, we ask for Your protection over the innocent and vulnerable who are easily misled. Shield them from wolves in sheep's clothing, and guide them to Your light through the true shepherds whom You have appointed. May Your Holy Spirit be their comforter and guide, leading them into all truth as they navigate the complexities of this world.

As we reflect on our own lives, teach us to be honest and trustworthy in our words and actions. May we never be the ones who propagate lies, but rather vessels of Your truth. Help us to honor the ancient wisdom found in Your Word and to seek after righteousness in all that we do. Use us to be examples of integrity in our homes, workplaces, and communities.

We pray for a revival of truth in our society. We ask that You raise up bold witnesses who will stand against the tide of deception and speak Your truth in love. Let us be agents of change, declaring the wonders of Your Word and shining Your light into the darkness. We desire to be a people who chase after the ancient paths of righteousness that lead to life and hope.

Lord, we thank You for the wisdom contained in Scripture. Let it lace our thoughts and actions so we may live as reflections of Christ in the world. As we navigate the complexities of life, may we always seek Your guidance above all else. Help us to discern rightly and choose wisely, standing firm in the face of falsehood and always striving to uphold the truth that is found in You.
