A Prayer for Healing and Salvation
"Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise." - Jeremiah 17:14

O Lord God Almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth, the Author of life and the Giver of every good gift, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude and longing. Your Word in Jeremiah 17:14 proclaims, "Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise." As I meditate on this profound promise, I am reminded of the depths of Your love and mercy that constantly surround us, even amidst our trials and tribulations.
Heavenly Father, You are the ultimate Physician and the balm of Gilead. You understand our every affliction and sorrow, for You were familiar with suffering during Your time on earth. I kneel before You today, not just for my physical ailments, but also for the emotional and spiritual wounds that I carry. I acknowledge that life can be overwhelming, and at times, I can feel lost in my pain and despair. Yet, I find comfort in the assurance that You are near to the brokenhearted and that You save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
Lord, I ask for Your healing touch to rest upon me. I crave the restoration that only You can provide. Heal my body from any disease that plagues it, from illness that weakens my flesh, and from pain that festers in my bones. Cast out all darkness that seeks to invade my mind; free me from anxiety and depression that seeks to suffocate my joy. Let Your light shine in every corner of my being, illuminating my darkness and transforming my sorrow into praise.
As I call upon Your name, O Healer of souls, I recognize that healing is not merely physical. I seek healing for my spirit and soul, for there are wounds that run deep, scars left by words spoken in anger, betrayals suffered at the hands of those I loved, and sins that I struggle to release. Lord, I ask that You cleanse me of all hurt, both that which I have inflicted on others and that which others have inflicted upon me. Renew in me a clean heart, O God, and restore a right spirit within me (Psalm 51:10). Let Your healing power flow through me, cleansing and purifying my innermost parts.
I place my hope and trust in You, for Your Word is true. You are my Savior, the One who came to seek and save the lost. In moments when I feel defeated, remind me that I am never beyond the reach of Your grace. Save me, O Lord; deliver me from the shadows of despair and helplessness. Let my life be a testament to Your saving grace, as I declare that You alone are my praise.
Lord, I also pray for those around me who are in need of healing and salvation. In the name of Jesus, I lift up my family, friends, and all who are suffering. May they also experience Your healing love and transformative power. Reach into their lives, provide for their needs, and draw them closer to You. Help me to be a vessel of Your love and compassion in their lives.
Father, as I seek You in this moment, I am filled with gratitude for Your steadfast presence. Thank You for hearing my prayer and for being a God who is intimately acquainted with my struggles and my hopes. I place my faith firmly in You, knowing that as long as I call upon Your name, I will experience healing and salvation.
In Jesus' name, I pray,
Amen.
