A Prayer for Divine Guidance and Justice
"Great in counsel, and mighty in work: for thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:" - Jeremiah 32:19

Heavenly Father,
As I come before You today, I am reminded of the profound truth in Jeremiah 32:19, which declares, "Great in counsel, and mighty in work: for thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings." Lord, this verse fills my heart with awe, for it reveals Your omniscience and the depth of Your understanding regarding the hearts of men. I stand humbled before Your greatness, recognizing that Your counsel is perfect and Your works are mighty.
In these times of uncertainty, I seek Your guidance, O Lord. I know that Your wisdom surpasses all human understanding. I ask that You provide me with clarity in my thoughts, decisions, and actions. May I lean not on my own understanding but acknowledge You in all my ways. Help me, dear God, to seek Your counsel in every aspect of my life—be it my relationships, my career, or my personal struggles. Teach me to wait upon You, to listen for Your still, small voice amidst the chaos of this world.
Lord, as I reflect on Your eyes being open upon all the ways of the sons of men, I am reminded of the importance of integrity in my life. Your eternal gaze sees beyond the surface of our actions into the very intentions of our hearts. I pray, Father, that my ways would be pleasing before You. Create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me. Help me to walk in the light of Your truth, shunning the darkness of deception and moral compromise.
I am also compelled to pray for those around me. Father, in a world where people are often blinded by their own desires, I ask that You awaken their hearts to Your truth. Open their eyes that they may see the path of righteousness. Instill a desire within them to seek after You, understanding that true fulfillment comes from obeying Your will and not chasing after fleeting pleasures.
Moreover, Lord, You promise to give to everyone according to their ways and the fruit of their doings. This truth brings forth a sense of urgency in my spirit. I pray earnestly for those who are lost, who have strayed from Your paths. May they receive the just consequences of their choices, but I also plead for mercy and grace to fall upon them. That they may come to repentance and find their way back to You. I trust in Your justice, knowing that You are both a God of mercy and a God of righteousness.
Dear God, help me to demonstrate Your love and truth in my interactions with others. Grant me the strength to speak truthfully and to act justly, not only to those who deserve it but to everyone. May my life bear good fruit that reflects Your character, bringing glory to Your name. Teach me to be a vessel of Your counsel and a worker of Your mighty deeds in this world, standing firm in my faith and being a beacon of light to the lost.
As I conclude this prayer, I give You thanks for Your unending love and for the gift of Your Holy Spirit, who guides me in all truth. I am grateful that You are always at work in my life, molding me more into Your image day by day. Thank You for assuring me that You watch over all and that nothing escapes Your notice. May I continually seek Your counsel, trusting in Your plan for my life.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
