A Prayer of Repentance and Supplication

O Sovereign Lord, Creator of heaven and earth, we come before You in humility and reverence, recognizing the greatness of Your power and authority over all creation. As we come with earnest supplication, we ask for Your intervention. May Your Spirit soften the hearts of those who have hardened themselves against You. We pray for the leaders of our communities, our nation, and our world. Grant them wisdom, discernment, and a fear of the Lord that leads them toward righteousness. Let the truth of Your Word guide their decisions, and may they seek justice, mercy, and humility in their leadership.
Great God, we also pray for revival to break forth. We ask for a mighty outpouring of Your Spirit to ignite our hearts with passion for You and for Your purposes. Let us not become weary in doing good, but empower us to love our neighbors as ourselves, to serve the least of these, and to proclaim Your good news boldly. Restore the joy of our salvation and help us to be vessels of hope in a world that so desperately needs You.
As we pray, may we be willing vessels for change. Teach us to love righteousness and to pursue justice. May we bring before You our supplications, not just for ourselves, but on behalf of others who do not yet know Your grace. In all things, Lord, let Your will be done.
