Call us to action when we see injustice, when we witness sin creeping in, or when we notice our brothers and sisters straying from the truth. Give us hearts that are compassionate yet bold, loving yet unwavering in truth.
Father, as we commit ourselves to being watchmen in this world, we ask for the keen eyesight to see the needs of those around us, to discern the spiritual battles they face, and to respond with love and help. Prepare us to stand in the gap for our families, friends, and communities, interceding for them as watchmen do for the city.
In conclusion, may we be ever aware of our roles in Your divine plan. Empower us to stand firm, to watch and pray, to raise the standard against unrighteousness, and to trust in Your ability to overcome. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, who set the ultimate standard for us to follow, and who protects and guides us as we walk in faith.
