O Gracious and Almighty God,

As I bow before You today, I am filled with awe and reverence for Your infinite wisdom and grace. My heart echoes the profound words of John the Baptist as recorded in your Holy Word, "Behold the Lamb of God!" (John 1:36 KJV). In this moment, I seek to gaze upon Your Son, Jesus Christ, the perfect and unblemished Lamb who was sent to bear the weight of our sins and to bring us into reconciliation with You.

Lord, I come to You with a spirit yearning to behold the beauty of Your Son. May my eyes not only see His physical presence as He walked upon this earth but also perceive the spiritual significance of His role as the Lamb of God. Help me to understand the depths of this title, for within it lies the essence of hope, love, and salvation. Jesus, You are the sacrificial Lamb who was offered to atone for our transgressions, to fulfill the law, and to open the way to eternal life.

Father, I pray that the truth of John 1:36 becomes alive in my heart. May my faith be strengthened as I look upon Jesus, acknowledging His sovereignty and grace each day.
