Heavenly Father,

As we come before You today, we want to exalt Your name for the divine leadership that You have established among us, just as You did in the times of Joshua. We reflect on the verse from Joshua 12:22, which states, "The king of Kedesh, one; the king of Jokneam of Carmel, one." We acknowledge that You have designated leaders and rulers in our lives, each serving their unique purpose under the authority of Your divine will.

Lord, we thank You for the kings and leaders You have raised in our communities, nations, and churches. Just as Joshua divided the land and identified the rightful kings over each territory, we pray for clarity in leadership and governance. Surround them with wise counsel, helping them to lead with discernment and humility, much like the kings of old, who established their reigns on Your principles.

Furthermore, Lord, don't let us forget to uphold our faith in prayer for the leaders at every level of government. The king of Kedesh and the king of Jokneam were not just rulers; they were instruments of Your sovereign plan. We pray for peace and wisdom to reign in their decisions, that they would seek justice and mercy in every decree and governance strategy.

May the governance in our nations be blessed with Your presence, as nations that honor You rise to lead with strength and purpose. Let us, as a unified church, also act as leaders in our spheres of influence, reflecting Your light into the darkness.
