Heavenly Father, our hearts come before You with gratitude and awe for Your goodness and faithfulness. We gather today in Your presence, reflecting on Your Word found in Joshua 22:33, which states, "And the thing pleased the children of Israel; and the children of Israel blessed God, and did not intend to go up against them in battle, to destroy the land wherein the children of Reuben and Gad dwelt." Lord, we thank You for the powerful lessons imbued within this verse, as it demonstrates the beauty of unity and the spirit of communion among Your people.

We praise You, O Lord, for instilling in us a heart that seeks peace above all. Through the historical account of Joshua and the tribes of Israel, we understand that conflict is not inevitable when we walk in love and understanding. Lord, we are so often tempted to quarrel and divide over our differences—whether in our homes, in the church, or in our communities. Lord, as You moved the hearts of the children of Israel to bless You, we too desire to offer our praises in times of peace and confusion alike.
