Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with hearts eager to draw closer to You, inspired by the narrative of Samson in Judges 15:16. As Your Word states, "And Samson said, With the jawbone of an ass, heaps upon heaps, with the jaw of an ass have I slain a thousand men." What a profound testament of Your strength, Lord!

In this passage, Lord, we witness Your power manifested through an unlikely instrument, a mere jawbone. This reminds us that You are not confined by our limited understanding or our narrow perspectives. Lord God, teach us to trust in You completely, even when circumstances seem impossible. May we take inspiration from Samson’s battle cries, powerful yet humble, echoing the truth that You are our fortress and our stronghold. Whenever we feel defeated, help us to proclaim triumphantly, just as Samson did, declaring that victory belongs to the Lord. Let us not bolster our egos, for it is not by our might or power that we succeed, but by Your Spirit alone, Lord God.
