Heavenly Father,

We come before you today, humbly acknowledging your greatness and remembering your holy commandments as we delve into the wisdom of Leviticus 19:17, which states, "Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him." Lord, these words resonate deeply in our lives and our communities, prompting us to reflect on the relationships we hold dear and the responsibilities we bear toward one another.

As we bow in reverent prayer, I ask that You instill in our hearts an unwavering love for our brothers and sisters. Remove any seeds of discord or animosity that may have taken root within us. Help us to understand the importance of love – a love that transcends our differences and binds us in a common purpose. We realize that harboring hate is a poison that infects not only our hearts but also our relationships. Guide us, Father, to cleanse our hearts of any bitterness, resentment, or unkind thoughts, so that we may exemplify your love in our interactions.

Lord, we seek your guidance on the delicate balance of love and correction. As You have instructed, may we boldly rebuke those who stray from your path, but let us do so with a spirit of compassion and gentleness. Teach us to speak the truth in love, to approach those we care about with open hearts, willing to embrace them even in their imperfections.
