O Sovereign Lord, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, we come before You in reverence and awe to thank You for the sacredness of Your commands. As Your word reminds us in Leviticus 23:7, "In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein." We acknowledge this call to rest and gather in Your name, recognizing the importance of setting apart time to focus solely on You and to draw nearer to Your heart.

Father, we seek to honor this divine invitation to a holy convocation. In our busy lives, it is easy to become distracted by the demands of our day-to-day existence. Help us, O God, to prioritize those moments when we can worship You collectively, gathering as a community of faithful believers. Let this holy convocation be a time of renewal, reflection, and rejoicing in Your goodness. May it be a sacred space where our hearts, minds, and souls align with Your perfect will.

Lord, as we prepare for this assembly, instill in us a spirit of unity and peace. Help us to come together in love, setting aside our differences and distractions. Let our gathering be infused with Your Holy Spirit, binding us together as brothers and sisters in Christ. In this convocation, we desire to experience the fullness of Your presence. You have promised that when two or more gather in Your name, You are in their midst.
