As we reflect upon Your Word found in Leviticus 24:21, which states, "And he that killeth a beast, he shall restore it: and he that killeth a man, he shall be put to death," we are reminded of the seriousness of life, the principles of justice, and the weight of responsibility that we carry as guardians of Your creation.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that You are the ultimate source of justice, and You have established laws to uphold order in society. As we observe the distinction You have made between the killing of animals and the taking of human life, we recognize the sacredness of human life that is made in Your image. Lord, we ask for Your mercy and grace to permeate our hearts, to instill in us a profound respect for every individual, recognizing that each person is a unique reflection of Your creativity and love.
