In Your Word, You assure us that as an earthly father would not give his child anything harmful, neither would You, the Most High, hand out sorrow, fear, or destruction to those who ask in faith. Father, I thank You for Your constant readiness to provide what is good and right for my life. Help me to hold fast to this truth, especially when the world around me feels overwhelming and chaotic.

Lord, teach me to be like a child in my trust and dependence on You. When I ask for what I need, may I have the faith to believe that You will not give me a scorpion when I request an egg. Strip away any doubt that clouds my heart and allow me to embrace Your promises wholeheartedly.
