Heavenly Father,

We come before You tonight in humble reverence, acknowledging Your sovereignty and eternal wisdom. We are reminded of the profound words spoken by our Lord Jesus Christ in Luke 18:8, where He promises us, "I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?" Lord, as we reflect upon this scripture, we are stirred in our spirits to seek a deeper understanding of faith and its implications in our lives and in the world around us.

Lord, we thank You for Your promises of vengeance and justice. In a world that often seems steeped in unrighteousness, where the cries of the oppressed echo through the lands, Your assurance that You will avenge swiftly brings comfort to our hearts. Help us to hold on to this hope, knowing that we serve a God who sees every injustice and hears every plea. May we never forget that even in our darkest hours, You are aware of our struggles and are poised to act on our behalf in Your perfect timing.

As we eagerly anticipate the return of our Lord Jesus Christ, we hold fast to the question posed in the scripture: When He comes, shall He find faith on the earth? Oh, Lord, let us be among those who walk with unwavering faith! Fill us with Your Holy Spirit and ignite a flame of belief that cannot be extinguished by the trials and tribulations we face. We confess that, at times, our faith wanes when encumbered by doubt, fear, or the distractions of this world.

Father, as we await Your return, we ask for a faith that endures. Help us to cultivate our trust in You through prayer, worship, and the sharing of Your Word. May we be diligent in seeking You with all our hearts, remaining steadfast in our commitment to live righteously and in accordance with Your commands. May our actions reflect the light of Christ in a world increasingly consumed by shadows.

In times of uncertainty and turmoil, when our faith feels shaken, remind us of the goodness of Your promises. Give us eyes to see the miracles that still unfold around us and the blessings that we often take for granted. Help us to testify of Your greatness to those who are lost and seeking, that we may inspire faith and hope in them, even as we cling to our own. Lead us to be instruments of Your peace, sowing seeds of faith in our homes, communities, and beyond.

Oh God, we pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ across the globe, many of whom face persecution and suffering for their faith. May they be strengthened and encouraged, knowing that their tribulations are not in vain. May they also hold fast to the hope of Your justice. Bless them with courage, resilience, and an unshakeable faith that points others to You.

And Lord, let our faith not be a static relic but a dynamic force that engages with the world around us. May we earnestly seek opportunities to serve, love, and uplift one another. May we work tirelessly to advance Your Kingdom, sharing the Gospel with urgency, reminding those around us that the time is short, and that the return of the Son of Man is imminent.

As we reflect on this poignant question from Jesus, may we examine our hearts and renew our commitment to live as faithful servants, filled with hope and expectation. We eagerly await the day when Jesus returns, and we pray that He finds faith alive and well in our hearts and in the hearts of all believers everywhere.
