When the Impossible Meets the Almighty: A Prayer From Luke 18:27 (KJV)
"And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God." - Luke 18:27

Most Holy and Almighty God,
I come before Thee with reverence, with gratitude, and with a heart that confesses its need. I acknowledge that Thou art God alone—faithful, wise, and unchanging. Thou seest the end from the beginning, and nothing is hidden from Thy sight. In the quietness of this moment, I set my thoughts upon Thy Word, and I hold fast to the truth spoken by our Lord: “And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”
Father, I confess how often I measure my life by human limits. I confess that I have looked at obstacles and called them final, looked at weakness and called it defeat, looked at delay and called it denial. Yet Thy Word stands above my feelings and above my circumstances. Thou hast declared, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.” Therefore I ask Thee to forgive me for the times I have doubted Thy power, questioned Thy nearness, or treated my problems as greater than Thy promises. Cleanse me from fear and from unbelief, and restore unto me a steady confidence that rests in Thee.
Lord, I bring before Thee the burdens I cannot carry in my own strength. Thou knowest the matters in my life that seem impossible: the habits I cannot break, the wounds I cannot heal, the relationships I cannot mend, the doors I cannot open, the provisions I cannot create, the direction I cannot fully see. I lay them at Thy feet, not as a token gesture, but as an act of surrender. I confess that with men these things are impossible. I cannot force a change of heart in others, and I cannot produce righteousness in my own flesh. I cannot rewrite the past, I cannot control tomorrow, and I cannot save myself by striving. But I worship Thee because with Thee the impossible becomes possible.
O God, make Thy power known in ways that magnify Thy Name. Where I have been weak, strengthen me. Where I have been confused, grant me wisdom. Where I have been anxious, give me peace that settles my spirit. Where I have been tempted, provide a way of escape and establish my steps in holiness. Let Thy grace work deeply, not only to relieve my circumstances, but to transform my character. Teach me to desire what Thou desirest, to love what Thou lovest, and to choose obedience even when I cannot see the outcome.
Father, I pray for faith that endures. When my prayers seem unanswered, keep me from despair. When progress seems slow, keep me from quitting. When the voices around me speak doubt, keep me anchored in Thy truth. Let me remember each day that “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.” Let that Word become my daily confession—spoken in the morning, remembered at noon, and trusted in the night. Make me patient in waiting, diligent in doing right, and humble in receiving what Thou givest.
Lord, I intercede for those I love and for those in need. For the weary, be their rest. For the sick, be their healer. For the brokenhearted, be their comforter. For those bound by sin, be their deliverer. For those facing lack, be their provider. For those who feel forgotten, let Thy presence assure them that Thou art near. Many situations before us appear impossible to men, but none are impossible to Thee. Stretch forth Thy hand and do what only Thou canst do, that hearts may turn to Thee with thanksgiving and awe.
And Father, above all, lead me closer to Thee. Let not my pursuit be merely the solution of problems, but the knowing of Thy heart. Keep me from trusting in my own understanding; teach me to lean upon Thy wisdom. If Thou choose to change my circumstances, I will praise Thee; and if Thou choose to change me within my circumstances, I will still praise Thee. For Thou art worthy in every season. Teach me to see Thy miracles not only in sudden breakthroughs, but also in quiet endurance, in daily provision, in timely correction, and in steadfast love.
I place my life into Thy hands again today. I renounce the lie that I am alone, and I reject the fear that tells me nothing can change. I embrace Thy truth: “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.” Let this Word become a lamp to my feet and a strength to my soul. Receive my surrender, refine my faith, and glorify Thy Name through my life.
In Jesus’ Name, I pray.
Amen.
