Lord, the scene unfolds in the sacred space of the temple, where the teachings of Jesus resonate in the hearts of many, yet conflict arises from those in authority seeking to challenge the truth.

Father, as we stand firm in our faith, we acknowledge the trials and tribulations that often accompany the proclamation of Your Word. Just as our Lord Jesus faced opposition from the chief priests and scribes, we too face challenges in our daily lives that seek to undermine our commitment to preaching the gospel. We ask that You endow us with the courage and strength necessary to stand tall in the face of adversity, knowing that we are upheld by Your mighty hand.
