O Holy and Righteous God,

As I come before You in prayer, my heart is filled with reverence and awe, for You are the God of all creation, the Keeper of my soul, and the giver of eternal life. I reflect upon Your Word, particularly Mark 10:17, as it recounts the encounter of a seeker who approached You with deep desire and earnestness. In that moment, he ran to You, knelt before You, and asked, ‘Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?’ O Lord, let these words resonate within my heart, prompting me to seek You with the same fervor and humility.

Lord, like that man, I too come running to You, aware of the weight of my mortality and the fragility of life. I acknowledge that the treasures of this world are fleeting and that only in You can I find true fulfillment. Help me to understand the depth of his question and the sincerity of his quest. Grant me wisdom to discern what steps I must take to align my heart with Your will, so that I may also inherit that precious gift of eternal life.

Father, I pray for the understanding of what it means to follow You wholeheartedly. In a world filled with distractions and temptations, let my heart be drawn towards You alone. Help me to seek righteousness, leave behind the entanglements of sin, and pursue a life characterized by faith, obedience, and love. Teach me, Lord, that the path to eternal life is wrapped in a relationship with You—a relationship marked by trust and commitment.

Lord Jesus, You exemplified the ultimate path to salvation through Your sacrifice and love. You invited the weary and burdened to come to You for rest. I humbly kneel before You, acknowledging that without Your grace and mercy, I am lost. Just as that young ruler sought Your guidance, I ask, what shall I do to securely walk this path that leads to eternal life? Illuminate my steps with Your light, and let Your Word guide me as I navigate the complexities of life.

Help me to cultivate the right attitude—to recognize the importance of humility as I come before You. May my posture not only be one of kneeling but also of submission and obedience to Your commands. I ask, dear Lord, that You break down any walls of pride that may hinder my willingness to surrender my life to You. In Your presence, I confess my shortcomings and seek the strength to turn away from the temptations that threaten my eternal inheritance.

Holy Spirit, I invite You into my heart and my life today. Fill me with a desire to seek out those things which lead to eternal life. May I prioritize my relationship with You above all else and look to serve others selflessly, just as You served us. Instill in me a spirit of love and compassion so that my life may draw others to Your Kingdom. Let my actions and words reflect Your grace, providing a glimpse of eternal life to those who are still in darkness.

And finally, Lord, I pray for reassurance and peace as I trust in Your promise of eternal life. When doubts arise and my faith falters, remind me of Your unwavering faithfulness to those who earnestly seek You. Help me to hold tightly to the assurance that through faith in Christ and obedience to Your Word, I am secure in my inheritance as a child of God.

Thank You, Lord, for the gift of eternal life through Your Son, Jesus Christ. May my pursuit of this life be one of joy and dedication. Grant me the grace to persevere, keeping my eyes upon You as I run this race toward eternity.
