As we reflect upon Thy Word from the Gospel of Mark 13:24, which states: "But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light," we are reminded of the profound mysteries of Thy divine plan and the challenging times that may precede our deliverance.

Lord, we acknowledge that the days we live in can often mirror the darkness described in Scripture. We see tribulations rising in our world, a world so desperately in need of Thy healing grace. As we walk in the midst of storms both personally and collectively, we yearn for the brightness of Thy hope to pierce the overwhelming clouds encircling our hearts and our communities.

Help us to remember that this darkness, as intimidating as it may be, is not the end of our story but rather a precursor to Thy magnificent works. We beseech Thee, Lord, to accompany us in these testing times, to provide for our needs, to strengthen our resolve, and to remind us that we are never alone. Even in the absence of light, Thy Spirit is ever-present, guiding us through every shadowed valley.

As we pray, we ask Thee to illuminate our minds and hearts with understanding.
