As we meditate upon the words found in Matthew 2:5, where it is declared, "And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet," we are reminded of the incredible plan You have woven throughout history to bring forth salvation and hope to humanity.

Heavenly Father, we thank Thee for the prophets who spoke Your truth and for the manuscripts that bear witness to Thy eternal love. As it was foretold that the Savior, Jesus Christ, would be born in Bethlehem, we marvel at the intricate details of Thy divine plan. Illuminate our paths, O God, so that we, too, may encounter the truth of who You are. Help us to discern Your voice amidst the distractions and temptations of this world. As we reflect on the significance of Bethlehem, a humble town that became the birthplace of the King, we are reminded that You often choose the most unlikely places and people to reveal Your glory. Just as the wise men offered gifts to the newborn King, may we present our lives as living sacrifices, bringing forth love, joy, and hope to those in despair.
