O Gracious and Eternal Father,

We come before Thee today, humbled and aware of our ever-present need for Your guidance and wisdom. As we reflect on the profound truth of Matthew 25:8, where the foolish said unto the wise, ‘Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out,’ we are reminded of the urgency to keep our spiritual light burning brightly. Lord, You are the source of all light and life, and it is by Your grace that we can maintain the oil of Your Spirit in our souls.

Heavenly Father, grant us the wisdom to understand the significance of preparedness in our spiritual journey. Help us to recognize the importance of the oil, which represents the anointing and presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
