"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." - Matthew 7:21-23

Heavenly Father,

As I come before You in prayer, I am deeply moved by the weighty words of our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 7:21-23. I acknowledge that not every person who calls upon Your name will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. This truth humbles me and causes me to search my own heart for authenticity in my relationship with You. I do not desire to be counted among those who merely speak of faith but lack the actions that embody a true commitment to Your will.

Lord, I beg of You to grant me wisdom and insight as I navigate through this worldly life. Help me to understand the depths of Your will and to find joy in executing it. Teach me, Father, to live by the principles of love, grace, and righteousness that You have laid out for us in Your Word. When I find myself confronted with choices, may I always seek Your guidance and choose pathways that are in alignment with Your heart.

I am reminded of those who will stand before You on that great and terrible day, claiming to have prophesied in Your name, cast out devils, and performed many wonderful works. Yet, You will respond with, "I never knew you; depart from me, ye that work iniquity." This sobering reminder stirs my spirit as I reflect on my journey. It compels me to reevaluate my motives, actions, and the true nature of my faith.

Lord, I do not want to be deceived into thinking that outward appearances of faith or a mere verbal profession of loyalty are sufficient for salvation. Help me to realize that genuine faith is an active, living relationship with You; it is an embodiment of Your will in every aspect of my life. May my life be a testimony of not just speaking Your name but living in accordance with the precepts You have set forth.

Father, I repent for the times I have allowed complacency to seep into my spiritual walk. I ask for Your forgiveness for any moments where I have sought to serve You out of obligation or for outward recognition, rather than from a pure heart striving for intimacy with You. Teach me to walk in humility and truth, reminding me that my works, while they should reflect my faith, cannot replace the need for a sincere heart that longs to know You deeply.

Help me to cultivate a relationship that is marked by prayer, meditation on Your Word, and an appetite for righteousness. Lord, I desire to hear Your voice guiding me, convicting me, and encouraging me along this journey of faith. May every act of service I render be an overflow of my love for You and my desire to glorify Your name. Let each action be intricately woven with the knowledge that they are done as an expression of my faith, fulfilling your commands rather than for self-glory.

As I pursue Your heart, surround me with mentors and fellow believers who challenge and inspire me to grow closer to You. Keep me steadfast in seeking You in every decision, and when trials come, help me to lean on Your wisdom and strength. May my intentions always be pure, and may Your love be evident in my life.

In closing, I pray for a heart that truly desires to do the will of my Father in Heaven. Let my life be a testament that I do not merely call You, "Lord, Lord," but that I strive to know You and be known by You. Help me to live a life that brings glory to You in every thought, word, and deed.

In the precious name of Jesus Christ, I pray,

Amen.
